The Present:
The past is over.
The Future will never come.
Now is the only moment
that will ever exist.
Therefore, LIVE each second
to the fullest.
---
Success:
Success is not found
in what you have achieved,
but rather in WHO
you have become.
---
Forgiveness:
Forgive yourself and
everyone around you.
When you judge others,
YOU are the one
that feels the pain.
Through forgiveness, all
pain disappears.
---
Prosperity:
Prosperty is not in what
you have attained, but
rather in what you
GIVE away ...
for it is only when
you Become empty, that
you can be filled
with something greater.
---
Patience:
Watch water drop onto
the rocke beneath it.
One drop does
nothing, but many drops
over time create
a hole in the rock.
Such is the Power
of patience.

October 2003 - Kenai Alaska:
I began taking classes from a new teacher
in town. I had never taken yoga before.
I was painfully shy, with
borderline agoraphobia.
Within a month she decided I was going to be a
teacher,
and she began training me. Within 3 months, I was teaching some
of her classes.
July 2004, my teacher declared it was time for her to
move on.
After seven months of apprenticeship, and earning my 200+ hours
(and then some!,
she certified me as a Hatha Yoga Teacher.
She sold me her
studio for $1, with all the supplies.
She said that some day I would move on,
and when I was ready,
there would be someone else ready to step into
the role as Care Taker for Kenai Yoga.
I took care of Kenai Yoga studio
for four years, and opened a second studio.
Due to family issues, my husband
and I made the very serious life change decision.
It was time to return
to California.
As stated by my teacher, a newly trained teacher was on the
verge of making her own life changes. That included owning her own business.
I sold her the studio for $1, with all the supplies.
My studies continue
in the areas of anatomy, yoga, body motion.
The human body is beautifully
diverse.
Each individual can experience the variety and joys of yoga, when
given
the right instructions, with as much alternate information as possible.
Everyone can explore their own special journeys.
Returning to Capay Valley after seven years (to the month!), has been
a wonderful homecoming. My life had changed so much,
and now I am blessed
and honored to be teaching a wonderful group.
Thank you, each one of
you, for making this my home.
